Halloween Cocktail + Halloween Sale
Halloween is a great time to socialize, to be creative, and of course to drink. At the store we are running specials on Halloween themed wines including the Big Red Monster, Incognito, 7 Deadly Zins, and Gnarly Head. Now is a great time to taste these fantastic wines.
However if you feel more like having a cocktail there are several different Halloween themed cocktails you can give a try. This one called the Black Widow features some interesting ingredients to make a truly spooky concoction !
Black Widow
from 42 below
1 part vodka
2 parts dark grape juice
1 teaspoon of raw sugar
4 slices of fresh ginger
4 blackberries
2 blackberries to garnish- In a cocktail shaker*, muddle together blackberries, ginger and sugar.
- Add vodka and dark grape juice. Fill with ice, shake well, and strain into a chilled Martini glass.
- Garnish with 2 blackberries.
Serves 1.
*To make a large batch, simply make in a big pitcher or large punch bowl.
